Bojangles was founded by Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas. Their first location originated in North Carolina in 1977, and is most famous for its Cajun-seasoned chicken and buttermilk biscuits. Bojangles has locations in Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, China, and 17 U.S. states. The new location in Frederick, MD, is located at 1312 W. Patrick St. Their hours are from 6 AM to 10 PM. Over the years Bojangles has had a steady growth in success and continues to expand all over the country and even nationally, bringing flavors of the South all over the world.
Bojangles offers an extensive menu that includes breakfast options such as their biscuit sandwiches, which can be filled with egg and cheese, sausage, bacon, Cajun chicken filet, steak, or southern gravy. They have an assortment of chicken pieces and chicken sandwiches as well. Bojangles fried chicken has a flavorful crunchy outside, with a tender, juicy inside. When paired with Bo’s special sauce, it adds a tangy and slightly sweet flavor that compliments the cajun-seasoned chicken perfectly. Their Bo-Berry Biscuit is a soft, warm buttermilk biscuit stuffed with blueberries and topped with a sweet icing drizzle, making it one of their most popular items.
