For example negative self-talk, comparing yourself to others, accepting toxic relationships, believing you have to be perfect and ignoring achievements you have accomplished are ways that you can stop yourself from being confident, so I suggest that you do the opposite.

Once you surround yourself with people who uplift you and care about you, you´ll get used to getting the treatment you should be receiving and you will learn not to take anything else other than that. Other ways you can stay confident is by practicing assertiveness with expressing how you feel. When you practice assertiveness and get good at expressing your thoughts clearly and respectfully this helps you learn how to communicate effectively. This also ties back to knowing your self worth because when you’re assertive you can create a greater sense of respect for yourself. Therefore being assertive and being in control with your emotions is good, so you can take control of your life and feel confident knowing you can express yourself with confidence.
When you’re confident you can communicate easier and increase your resilience, perform better doing daily tasks and increase your overall well being. Confidence keeps you in the right mind and can even help you perform better in certain situations so I believe it is good to go on a journey to find your confidence.
