To tell more of our protagonist, his name is Trevor Phillips. He is an only child to this day. When he was a young child, he and his parents were out on a drive from the movies when suddenly, a car slammed into them out of nowhere and crashed into them head on. Trevor’s parents barely survived, but the driver of the other vehicle was deceased at the scene. Witnesses say that Trevor walked out of the fires with no injuries. There is only a scar on his arm that looks kind of like a “Z” to remind him of the time.
His parents were admitted to the hospital with little to no chance of survival. For some time, he visited whenever he had the chance. A few months later, he went to live with his grandparents. Life was going great for him in school and life, but then his life went wrong. One day, his grandparents won an exclusive cruise trip for a week. So they decided that he would be okay left alone with a random uncle he had never met. But to be sure of Trevor’s safety, they asked their neighbor to check on them from time to time. They promised the boy that they would return.
That was 2 years ago. Trevor is 12 now and in the 6th grade. His grandparents were reported missing at sea. They haven’t been found since. He was living by himself along with his babysitter, who is his uncle. After spending some time with him, Trevor found out that his uncle was a construction worker for making bridges and buildings.
